Before Abbott, Mike spent 11 years in consulting focusing on Operations & Supply Chain strategies and performance improvement. Prior to consulting, Mike held roles in Finance, Business Development, Sales & Marketing at Motorola and Operations with Schlumberger. Mike earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and also holds degrees in Economics and Business Administration Finance from Southwest Baptist University.

Carl Bracy joined Essilor of America in 2004, as Vice President of Marketing. Bracy received his undergraduate degree in psychology and economics and his masters of business administration in marketing and finance from the University of Michigan. He was promoted to senior vice president of marketing and new business and then recently to his current position. Prior to joining Essilor, he held positions with Procter and Gamble, Verizon, and TXU Energy.

Bob Colucci began his career with Essilor in 1989 as Director of Sales for Varilux Corporation. He was promoted to Vice President of Sales in early 1991 and had an active role over the years in the rapid growth of the Varilux product line. In 1996, Essilor Lenses reorganized into distinct business units focusing on unique customer segments, and Colucci was appointed Senior Vice President, General Manager Wholesale Group. In 1999, Colucci assumed the position of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Essilor Labs. And in October of 2004, Colucci was named President of the Independent Distribution Division. Additionally, in January 2012, Colucci became the Chairman of the Essilor Vision Foundation.

Lauri holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University with concentrations in Strategy, Marketing and Finance and an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining Essilor, Lauri was SVP Global Marketing for JMI, the world's leading motorsports marketing agency, VP Global Marketing for Invensys Operations Management, VP Marketing for Trane & American Standard Residential Heating & Air Conditioning, Director of Retail Marketing for Nike, led the Folgers Coffee brand for Procter & Gamble and was a manager of HR and Corporate Communications with PepsiCo. Lauri, her husband, Dale, and her youngest son, Austin, live in Southlake, Texas and her other sons live in London, Ho Chi Minh City and New York.

Steve Cunningham joined Essilor of America in 2003 as Vice President Human Resources for Essilor Labs. Since that time, Cunningham has contributed significantly during a high period of acquisition and growth including expanded scope in Partner Lab, Nassau/OOGP and other customer channels. Additionally, Cunningham serves as Advisor to the Essilor Vision Foundation. He received his undergraduate degree from Creighton University in Psychology and his M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from University of Nebraska at Omaha. Prior to Essilor, Cunningham held senior level HR roles with Frito-Lay, Boston Market Restaurants and Circle K Corporation.

Greg joins us from Press Gainey Associates where he held the position of Chief Innovation Officer. Prior to Press Gainey, Greg held senior level IT positions both domestically and internationally with several companies including Maxim Healthcare Services, Broadlane and Smith and Nephew. Throughout his career, Greg has demonstrated not only strong technical skills but has also demonstrated the ability to establish key linkages between business strategy and information technology, delivering real solutions versus implementing information tools. Greg holds a BS degree in math and computer science from Northwest Missouri State University.
Vice President, North American Operations, Essilor of America, Inc.
Marc joined Essilor with 20 years of professional experience in the Automotive and Food Industry. In those 20 years he handled mainly Industrial Operations and Supply Chain. In 2008 Marc accepted the position Vice President of the Supply Chain at Worldwide level for Essilor. In 2011, he took the responsibility of the Industrial Operations for North and South America and continues to do so.

Rick Gadd joined Essilor in March 2011 as Senior Vice President Key Accounts and manages the Integrated Health Management Systems and retail businesses. Gadd obtained his Bachelor’s degree and his BBA in marketing and finance from York University in Toronto, Canada. Prior to Essilor, Gadd spent over 20 years with Motorola where he progressed through several roles including sales, key account management, marketing, product development and general management. In his last role with Motorola, Gadd held the position of Vice President and Sales General Manager.

Daniel joins us from Samsung where he held the position of Vice President and General Manager, National Retail where he was responsible for the national retail sales organization. Prior to Samsung, Daniel held several senior level positions with Radio Shack in the retail services, strategic initiatives, procurement, merchandising and national retail areas. Prior to Radio Shack, Daniel was a restructuring attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom. Daniel’s educational background includes a Bachelor Degree from Stanford, a Master of Science from the University of Bath and a Law Degree from the University of Michigan. Daniel and his wife Cristina and their daughter live in Southlake.

Mikael Malagies, as Vice-President, EOA Supply Chain joined Transitions Optical in 1997 in the Ireland facility in Logistics. Since joining Transitions, Mikael has held several roles of increasing responsibility including Logistics Manager, Philippines; Supply Chain Director, Americas; and from 2008 Global Supply Chain. From 2012, Mikael moved to several commercial roles and was most recently appointed Director, Global Channel Management, in charge of global Retail and US labs for Transitions Optical. Mikael is a graduate of the Industrial Engineer School HEI (Lille, France) with a specialization in civil engineering from the University of Manchester (England). He has been certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) from APICS since 1998.

Mike McCollum joined Essilor in September 2012 as Senior Vice President, Essilor Laboratories of America. Prior to Essilor, McCollum spent over 20 years with The Associates, CitiGroup, GE, Concentra and Humana where he progressed through leadership roles including finance, sales, marketing and operations. McCollum obtained his undergraduate degree in accounting from Texas Tech University and his MBA from Southern Methodist University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
General Counsel and Vice President of Legal, Essilor of America, Inc.
David Milan joined Essilor in 2000 as General Counsel and Vice President of Legal. Milan has responsibility for the Essilor of America legal department, which provides internal legal services for all of the Essilor of America affiliated entities in the United States.
Prior to Essilor, Milan was a trial lawyer with Dallas-based Winstead, Sechrest and Minick, P.C., as well as serving as in-house counsel to Snelling Personnel Services and Pearle Vision, Inc. He received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Tech University.

Phil Miller joined Essilor in 2008. He has a strong background in Product Development having worked as a scientist and manager at 3M for over 20 years. He has a PhD in Materials Science from Cornell University, is a Design for Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and is named as the inventor on more than 10 US patents.

Mike Nathe joined Essilor Laboratories of America after he sold Custom Eyes/Optical Resources in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota in 2000. In 2003, he transferred to Tampa, Florida after being promoted to Regional Vice President of the South East Region. In 2004, Nathe took on the additional responsibility of the Mid Atlantic Region. He was promoted to Senior Vice President for Essilor Labs East Division responsible for 5 Regional Vice Presidents in 2005 and made the move to the corporate headquarters in Dallas. Nathe became Senior Vice President of Essilor Laboratories of America in 2008 and as of 2012 is Senior Vice President responsible for the Partner Lab Division.

Steve joined EOA in 2004 as Marketing Director for the Lab Group. Steve progressed through several key roles within EOA with his last role being Vice President Retail. His efforts and approach were a key factor in EOA’s and Europe’s growth and profitability. Steve brings a very unique set of experiences to his new role.

Barbara started her career at Essilor in 1999 as a marketing intern. Since joining Essilor, she has had a very diverse career with successful roles ranging from product and channel marketing to managed care operations and key account management. Barbara now leads a dynamic team engaged in delivering strategic solutions to key accounts. She received her bachelors degree in Communications and Advertising and her MBA from ESC Rouen (France).

Jason Preator joined Essilor in July 2011 and is Senior Vice President of Finance with oversight of Essilor of America’s business analysis, accounting, treasury and tax functions. Prior to joining Essilor, he held various management and financial roles within the hospitality industry. In addition, he has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, consulting and auditing from his work experience within various groups at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds both an undergraduate and graduate degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.
Senior Vice President of Customer Development, Essilor of America, Inc.
Dr. Purcell joined Essilor in 2008 as Vice President of Customer Development. Prior to joining Essilor, he served as Senior Director of Professional Affairs for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care. He was with Vistakon since February 1995. A graduate of the New England College of Optometry in 1984, Purcell participated in a group optometric practice for 11 years. While in private practice, he served as Clinical Investigator and Consultant to the contact lens industry. He is a Diplomate in the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the American Academy of Optometry.
President, Essilor Vision Foundation
Kim was named President of Essilor Vision Foundation in January 2016. In her role as President, Kim leads EVF’s 2016 efforts to expand vision services by providing more than 200,000 pairs of glasses to individuals across the US. She joined EVF from Essilor where she previously worked as the Vice President of Global Marketing, Sunwear, leading the innovation pipeline, while developing branding and product portfolio strategies to increase regional growth efforts. She had previously held the position of Varilux® Brand Manager for EOA Marketing and Marketing Director for the Lab Channel. Kim brings more than 20 years of experience and expertise in the optical industry, and holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Marketing, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Executive Vice President, CFO, Essilor of America, Inc.
Kevin Rupp joined the team in 2000 as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration. During his career at Essilor, Rupp has implemented a shared service organization for the administrative functions of the company, which has included an enterprise wide systems implementation to provide full administrative services to all operating business units from a central shared service organization. Rupp has also headed the company’s acquisition efforts, and he is responsible for Essilor’s polarized lens business. A Certified Public Accountant, Rupp received his Bachelors Degree in Business from the University of Houston. Prior to joining Essilor, he was employed in the energy industry for more than 20 years with Arco, Fina, and TotalFina.

Matt Tackman joined Essilor in October, 2008 with responsibilities for both US Retail and Global Retail Key Accounts. Matt ensures that Essilor is positioned for long-term sustainable growth by managing retail chain channel strategy with a Customer and Consumer focus. Matt is experienced in developing strong industry partnerships, creating new business models, leveraging acquisitions, and integrating IT and engineering resources, while ensuring global solutions meet the needs of local markets. Prior to coming to Essilor, Matt worked for Hanes Brands Inc., General Electric and UPS. Matt is a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington.

John Walborn joined Essilor of America in 2007. Prior to joining Essilor, he held both sales management and marketing positions at Dexide and General Electric. Walborn received his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and his Masters of Business Administration from Baker University.
