Each year 850 million corrective lenses are sold worldwide and the average growth of the market is 4% a year.  And we make half of all progressive lenses sold in the world.  Essilor sees over $2 billion in worldwide annual sales and has over 22,000 employees around the globe.  A consumer purchases Varilux lenses every 6 seconds and over 40 million Essilor lenses are sold each year.
